Arrow Weathervane

The arrow weathervane is a popular design amongst the more typical mass-produced form of weather vanes which began to be used in the America in the late 1800s. The arrow weathervane, especially when combined with an artistic banner sold by the thousands in the mid-nineteenth century.

The Arrow Sphere weather vane is handcrafted of copper and includes a brass directional, a brass rod and ring and two copper balls, one large and one small separated by the directional. The arrow feathers are slightly notched and the rings interlinked to give a light open look to the creation. This arrow weathervane measures 23” x 23”.

The Fancy Arrow Weathervane is also copper with brass directions. The fletching on this arrow weathervane are kite shaped and smooth edged. The decorative feature is a mirror image curly-Q above and below the shaft of the arrow, and repeated on each side of the upright rod. This arrow weathervane measures 28” x 23”

The Oval Arrow Sphere weather vane is similar to the Arrow Sphere except the two interlinking spheres are elongated. It is somewhat smaller in size, measuring 23” x 16”.
